While my girl does her 30 minute lesson (cause she's only 4), I tend to put my other 1 1/2 year old in her pack n play filled with toys all around her bed to play with. Lots of books, puzzles, and stuffed animals. It will at least keep her occupied for half of the time. But half the time is better than no time.
